I am happy to give talks about issues related to climate change, and climate policy in particular, to community groups, schools, or other venues, without charge.
I have some experience with outreach and public speaking, having served as co-coordinator of Amnesty International McGill’s high school outreach program. I’ve also made many public presentations in my capacity as policy director for Stand Canada.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me at the address listed on the About page. Thanks!
Presentation Resources
To construct your own presentation, you might find it useful to have a look at climate blogger Joe Romm’s series of posts about “must-have powerpoints,” great powerpoint slides that make a point about the climate.
If you would like to arrange for a presentation by someone who has gone through Al Gore’s presentation training program (regretfully I have not), you can get in touch with The Climate Project here (or here, if you’re in Canada).
If you’re in high school, why not get in touch with the Alliance for Climate Education, which specializes in presentations about present climate science for high school assemblies?
